Mimurosugi — brewed in the shadow of the shrine where sake's god dwells.
Imanishi Shuzo, founded in 1660, brews in Miwa, Nara, at the foot of Omiwa Shrine — the shrine of the god of sake — and carries more than 360 years of history there. Its Mimurosugi label has won national popularity, and the house also works the ancient bodaimoto starter method born in Nara. Seasonal tasting experiences and guided tours themed on sake and Miwa are offered.
