The Story of 矢野酒造

Yano Shuzo was founded in 1796 in Kashima, Saga, and has brewed for more than 220 years. Its main house is a registered National Tangible Cultural Property, and its kura buildings, over a century old, stand along the old Nagasaki Kaido highway. In 2003 the brewery declared its commitment to junmai sake, a quality-first pledge still upheld by ninth-generation president Motohide Yano.
