福寿海
Eastern Tottori's oldest kura, its name drawn from a Noh play's wish for boundless fortune.
Founded in 1828, Nakagawa Shuzo is the oldest brewery in eastern Tottori. Its flagship label, Fukujukai, takes its name from the Noh play Makura Jido and its wish that 'fortune and longevity be as vast as the sea' — a light-aroma, easy-drinking sake. Since 1989 the kura has also brewed Inaba-zuru, and today both labels are made to complement Tottori's local cooking through every season.
Available across honjozo, junmai, ginjo and daiginjo grades
Brewed since 1989
