A Nagato brewery whose flagship sake honors hometown poet Kaneko Misuzu, alongside an additive-free citrus liqueur made from its own sake.
Based in Nagato, Yamaguchi, Otsu Shurui Jozo names its flagship sake Misuzu after Kaneko Misuzu, the children's poet with ties to the city. Brewed with Nagato's clean natural water, this daiginjo (highly polished sake) offers a crisp finish and an easy-drinking character. The kura also makes Daidai no Hana, an additive-free liqueur built from its own sake genshu and the juice of daidai and yuzu citrus.
