Genba Honten, founded in 1823 in the Funehiki district of Tamura, Fukushima, brews the Abukuma label, named for the Abukuma highlands around it. The house counts more than fifteen gold medals at the Annual Japan Sake Awards. Its shop is open 10:00–18:00, closed Sundays and holidays.
