Nifudazake — the shipping-tag sake that put Kamo back on the map.
Kamo Nishiki Shuzo, founded in 1893 in Kamo, Niigata, has brewed for more than 120 years — but it is the Nifudazake series, styled after old shipping tags, that has won it national attention in recent years. The house brews small and uncompromising, designing sake for the modern table. Tours are not currently offered.
