Taiyozakari — brewers who grow their own Koshitanrei in north Echigo.
Taiyo Shuzo, founded in 1945 in the castle town of Murakami, sits in north Echigo's sake-rice country and brews by hand from local rice and water. Its signature junmai daiginjo Taiyozakari is made from Koshitanrei rice the brewers grow themselves. Tours run 9:00–15:00, by reservation for groups.
